The popular Baskerville Historics meeting is back in 2021 after the pandemic forced the cancellation of last year’s event.

The three-day meeting will run Friday 17th to Sunday 19th September with practice on Friday, qualifying and racing on Saturday, and racing on Sunday with the popular grid walk a feature at lunchtime.

Spectator admission fees have been held at 2019 prices. There will be gate sales, only.

Fans can expects the usual array of historic race cars from through the ages, either on static display or competing in the special events for these cars.

The Muscle Car Cup returns, and feature categories this year include pre-EH Holdens with cars expected from all over the country.

Rare Spares is offering $250 to assist each mainland entrant in this category to get across Bass Strait, payable on arrival.

The Riverfront Motel and Villas at Rosetta in Hobart’s northern suburbs (on the way to the track) is offering special rates to mainland visitors – if there are any rooms left! Contact (03) 6272 6721

Small Ford Group N racers such as Escorts, Cortinas, Anglias and Capris will also be in the spotlight with a special race for them. Expect to see small Fords from far and wide, keen to sample the famous Baskerville track that’s so well suited to these small cars.

A select number of local race categories will also be on the program.

The well-attended Friday night social function is set to run again with guest speakers currently being finalised.

More information about camping options/fees will be released closer to the event.
