LAP RECORDS BROKEN AT TCRC3

By July 12, 2022November 21st, 2022TCRC

TCRC was a successful weekend of practice, regularity and racing.  Sunday’s  events provided some of the closest racing seen in recent times.

Brad Sherriff missed by an agonising 8/100th of a second in his attempt to  break World F1 Champion Alan Jones’ almost 40 year-old sports sedan lap record.  A small consolation was his lowering of his own local Sports Sedan record.  Brad promises to return for the next round to have another crack in his amazing 9000 rpm, 1200 bhp Nissan Skyline.

Congratulations to Jeremy Dyer who managed to eclipse the 16 year-old Formula Vee lap record formerly held by veteran racer/engineer Noel Clark – who fortuitously and coincidentally was fettling Jeremy’s Elfin Crusader.
